Set it once
see what worked

breathing, grounding, and the things you reach for

Logging every dose is the kind of homework that makes people quit. In AnxietyMe a daily medicine or a therapy is added once, with the day it started, and the app compares your attack days before and since. The things you reach for in an attack, slow breathing, grounding, a walk, cold water on the face, are one tap, and What Worked reads them back against how your attacks went.

why note what helps?

In 41 people with panic disorder, four weeks of breathing training corrected low carbon dioxide levels and cut panic severity as much as cognitive training did.

Meuret et al., J Consult Clin Psychol 2010

Set once, not every dose

Treatments live under Monitor: add a drug, a therapy or a lifestyle change, its amount and frequency, and the start date, and stop it when you stop. Medicines are grouped as Daily and As needed; the as-needed ones, a beta blocker or a rescue tablet your doctor gave you, are one tap in Quick Log with the time set to now, and you can add how much it helped and any side effects.

What the treatment page shows

Your attack days a month while on it against before it started, the last four weeks, average severity and duration before and since, which triggers moved up or down, and how it compares with your other treatments. If nothing was logged before it started, it says there is nothing to compare with. The Treatments page is part of Premium.

What Worked

Every medicine and relief gets one of four verdicts. The reason underneath is in the unit it was measured in: severity against your attacks without it, minutes where there are enough end times, or your own relief rating. It is deliberately cautious, because people reach for help on their worst attacks. It is your log read back to you, not a measure of the medicine.

Your doctor decides

AnxietyMe never suggests starting, stopping or changing a medicine. If something in your log lines up with a medicine you take, take it to your GP, psychiatrist or pharmacist. Never change a dose because of what an app shows.

Where it lives in the app

Monitor holds Treatments, where you add, link, stop or delete a drug, therapy or lifestyle change, and Medicines, grouped as Daily and As needed. Medicines and reliefs are also pages of the attack log and tiles in Quick Log. What Worked is in Insights.

What it needs from you

A start date for each daily treatment, once. As-needed medicines and reliefs are one tap when you use them. The Treatments page and What Worked are part of Premium; logging is free.

Questions

Do I have to log every dose?

No. A daily medicine is added once as a treatment with its start date. Log an as-needed medicine when you take it, if you want it compared.

Does the app tell me which medicine to take?

No. It shows how your own attacks went with what you used and leaves every medical decision to you and your doctor.

Is it Premium?

Logging a medicine or relief is free. The Treatments page and What Worked are part of Premium.
