It finds your
patterns

your attack days, next to your calm ones

Insights is where everything collected meets the attacks you logged. It answers three questions with statistics rather than hunches: what was different around your attacks, what worked when you used it, and what is already going right on your days with no attack. You open it when you want to; it never pushes a finding at you.

why your own history?

Two weeks of in-the-moment check-ins showed how symptoms move and feed each other differently in each person, which is what a treatment can be tailored to.

What Happened

For each factor the engine compares the days around your attacks with your other days using Fisher's exact test, looks at a few days of lag, and corrects for the number of tests it runs. Collected factors read as two averages, for example sleep score around your attacks against your other days. Things you only note now and then are shown as a share of your attacks, because there is no fair day-by-day comparison for them.

The Your triggers card puts the result in three words: strong link, some link, or no link found. Dots show how much data is behind each finding. A link is not a cause, and the app says so on the screen.

Accuracy, and combinations

Accuracy sets your load against what actually happened: when the dial said Mild or High, did an attack follow, and when it said Low, did the day stay calm. Combinations lists the pairs that went together with your attack days more than either did alone.

What Worked, What Strengthens You

What Worked gives every medicine and relief one of four verdicts: works well, some help, no clear effect, or not enough yet, with the reason underneath. It is your own log read back to you, not a measure of the drug. What Strengthens You is the positive side: consistent sleep, calm stress, steady caffeine and the other habits that turn up on your days with no attack. Nothing on it warns or judges.

What changed, and the rest

What changed sets the last 30 days against the 30 before for every trigger, medicine and relief. How Did It Impact You shows your severity spread, your most common symptoms and what you missed. What Were You Doing is a tally of the activities and places you tagged. Monitor holds one history graph per thing collected.

Where it lives in the app

Insights. What Happened opens with Your triggers, then Patterns and Combinations. Beside it are Accuracy, What Worked, What Strengthens You, What changed, What Were You Doing, How Did It Impact You, the recommendations and the Full Report. Monitor holds one history graph per thing collected.

What it needs from you

At least three logged attacks before the engine can compare anything; findings firm up with more. What it reports is correlation, stated as correlation, and it is there when you open it, never pushed. Insights is part of Premium.

Questions

How many attacks does it need?

At least three before it can compare your attack days with anything, and findings firm up as more come in. What Strengthens You needs no attacks at all, because it reads your calm days.

Is it correlation or causation?

Correlation, stated as correlation. The app tells you whether a factor went with your attacks and how strongly, and leaves the judgement to you and your GP or therapist.

Is Insights free?

Insights is part of Premium: What Happened, What Worked, What Strengthens You, Accuracy, What changed, What Were You Doing, How Did It Impact You, the tests worth running and the Full Report.
